LACMTA (Metro) – Los Angeles, CA
LACMTA selected products and professional services from TransitVUE® to replace their existing and outdated PIS. The new passenger information system is capable of audio and visual messaging on full color, high-resolution LCD and LED message displays. Also included were monochrome “text only” LED station platform displays. Our TPIS solution included 350 LCD displays, 65 full color LED displays, 166 LED monochrome platform displays, station media players, and the TransitVUE® Professional on-premise content management server and software.
The Foothill Gold Line Construction Authority – Irwindale, CA
The Foothill Gold Line Construction Authority (Phase 1A) selected products and professional services from TransitVUE® to design and build a new passenger information system capable of interfacing to Metro’s TPIS by providing audio and visual messaging on high-resolution LCD monitors and monochrome LED platform displays installed at station entrances, mezzanines, platform, and non-public areas. The capabilities were the same as Metro’s. TransitVUE® provided our TPIS solution, which included 24 LCD VMS displays and monochrome LED platform displays, sign media players, and the TransitVUE® Professional on-premise content management server and software.
Exposition Metro Line Construction Authority – Los Angeles, CA
The Exposition Metro Line Construction Authority (Phase 2) selected products and professional services from TransitVUE® to design and build a new passenger information system capable of interfacing to Metro’s TPIS by providing audio and visual messaging on high-resolution LCD monitors and single color LED displays installed at station entrances, mezzanines, platform, and non-public areas. The capabilities were the same as Metro’s. TransitVUE® provided our TPIS solution, which included LCD displays were 24 and single color LED displays 48, station media players, and the TransitVUE® Professional on-premise content management server and software.
Fresno Area Express – Fresno, CA
City of Fresno FAX selected products and professional services from TransitVUE® to design and build a new passenger information system for their new BRT line. It is capable of displaying audio and visual messaging on full color LED displays installed at stops along the BRT route and transit centers. TransitVUE® provided our TPIS solution. It included 55 double-sided platform and concourse style LED displays, sign media players, and the TransitVUE® Professional cloud content management software.
Orange County Transit Authority – Orange, CA
OCTA selected products and professional services from TransitVUE® to design and build a new passenger information system for their new Streetcar line. It is capable of displaying audio and visual messaging on full color, high-definition LED platform displays at all Streetcar stations. The LED displays also included dome security cameras for added passenger security and safety. The TPIS included 58 double-sided LED platform displays, sign media players, and the TransitVUE® Professional on-premise content management server and software.
