The perimeter intrusion detection behavior detects, tracks, and classifies humans, vehicles or objects entering user-designated areas within the camera’s field of view. This behavior is capable of detecting but does not alert on small animals, such as rats, and debris. In addition, it is extremely effective in conditions of varying illumination, shadows and in inclement weather. This behavior also allows for GIS positioning data to be exported for real-time object tracking display.
